Accepting resumes for permanent part time library clerk positions. Must be available to work a combination of days, evenings, and Saturdays, being available 24 hours per week, if needed. Scheduling needs do NOT allow us to work around another job or a school schedule. Must be available to work at various branches throughout Mahoning County.

Duties include assisting patrons in checking out library materials, shelving books, registering borrowers, collecting and keeping records of fines, maintaining files and records, and other related tasks. Job involves active work a large part of the time; sit down activities are limited.

Must be able to type 30 WPM, have good alphabetizing skills, ability to work well with the public, and ability to maintain a dependable attendance record. Must be a High School Graduate. MUST have good computer skills with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Rate of pay is $11.14 per hour with an excellent fringe benefit package which includes pension plan with the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).
