Reporting to the Dean, University Libraries (UL), the Associate Dean works with the Dean to plan, direct, operationalize and assess the services and resources of the UL within the context of the University’s mission, strategic plan, and priorities and is a member of the Dean’s Management Advisory Group. The Associate Dean oversees and provides strategic direction for the Northwest Ohio Regional Book Depository and the UL Library Information and Technology Services unit, works closely with campus information technology offices, leads UL assessment initiatives, works with the Dean to determine UL strategic planning efforts, actively participates in campus Associate Dean activities, coordinates large scale operational projects as needed and works on other administrative activities as assigned by the Dean. With the UL Dean, serves as the library liaison with the user community, the University, and the broader regional/state community.
